So, today was the first day after the holidays, which we survived. We got over them like a boat goes over the shoals. And today I'm back to getting up and baking bread and making soup, but I used to think about what I was going to write when I did those things; I'd have a project I was working on. But I finished Turtles, and I'm sending it out to theaters, and I'm casting about for what to write about next. And I'm stumped. But today on Twitter I found this.
I think this is a smart idea. I think I do need a plan. And I think I need to know where I'm at right now. And I think I need to know where I want to go. I particularly like the part about needing to know where you are right now. I think everyone has a fair idea where they want to go (plays produced), but that's really relative.
I'm going to think more about this one because, frankly, I'd rather be working on a play right now, than blogging. And I've got some free time, which is gold to a writer. I hate that feeling that I'm wasting time.
