A lot has happened in that month. From the work done at The Inkwell I now have a new draft of Turtles.
Add that to the work I've been doing on Highland Center, Indiana and A Perfect Day for Pictures, and Johnny's been a very busy playwright. Funny thing is, though, is how distant I've felt from the theater. I've been in my hole, writing away. I haven't seen a lot of theater lately, except for one exceptional piece called The Spurt of Blood from the Boston Experimental Theatre.
You can do that. I can do that. Just go away. It's like when I get sick, I just want to crawl into a hole and be left alone. When I'm wriitng, a lot of times I just want to be left alone. It's my own little introverted world that I like occupy, and I've been putting some stuff on Facebook occassionally about being an introvert, like this piece in the Atlantic.
