Actually, I guess it is, when you consider that it's all connected.
If I can apologetically criticize my theater artists friends just slightly, I think--for me, at least--too much emphasis on theater in your life makes you a bit stale.
At least for me it does. I love the arts--all kinds. Visual, musical, theatrical. I love self-expression.
Just the other night some friends and Sue and I went to a Della Mae concert, and sitting right next to us was this older gentleman who decided to play along during the entire concert by playing percussion on his legs...and table and chair and at one point the woman sitting next to him.
On one hand it was kind of annoying, but then I thought, whoa, this music is really touching this guy. And it was all right.
Anyway, I wrote this just the other day last week. Lyrics are about a quarter of the way there. More to come.
