My characters are the kind of people who, if the last seat on the subway was next to them, you'd stand.
They are profane, mean, and they know what they want and don't let anything get in the way of them getting what they want. That includes children, loved ones, or bunny rabbits.
My plays are littered with the detritus of life: whiskey bottles, shotguns, old pickup trucks, children, ex-lovers, and Jesus Christ himself.

Turtles was selected as a finalist at The Inkwell in Washington, D.C. as part of its Development Showcase in June. A 20-page excerpt will be read at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company’s Rehearsal Hall.
